ACT Bridge Maintenance Program - Complex Co
The ACT Bridge Maintenance Program was delivered across multiple suburbs throughout the ACT by Complex Co Pty Ltd for Transport Canberra and City Services. The program involved the maintenance and rehabilitation of 22 bridges, including deck waterproofing, joint replacements, resurfacing and pier protection, with each structure presenting unique technical and environmental challenges. Careful staging, strong community engagement and specialist coordination allowed the works to extend asset life and improve safety while minimising disruption to road users across Canberra.
Gundaroo Drive Duplication Package B - Woden
Contractors
The Gundaroo Drive Duplication Package B project was delivered by Woden Contractors in the suburb of Giralang as a major arterial road and bridge upgrade for Belconnen. The works included duplication of the roadway, extensive stormwater infrastructure and construction of a new multi-span bridge founded on deep bored piles within a constrained live-traffic environment. Complex geotechnical conditions, disciplined traffic staging and rigorous structural compliance contributed to a durable bridge asset that
significantly improves capacity, safety and active transport connectivity.
