Raising London Circuit - Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure
Delivered by Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure, the Raising London Circuit project
transformed a key CBD corridor to support future light rail and improved multimodal transport outcomes. Located in Canberra, the works involved raising the roadway, major earthworks, bridge demolitions, new pavements, drainage, utilities and active travel links, all undertaken within a dense urban environment. The project prioritised complex traffic staging and stakeholder coordination to maintain network access while delivering a future-ready intersection.
Kings Highway and Monaro Highway Pavement Rehabilitation - Woden Contractors
Woden Contractors delivered the Kings Highway and Monaro Highway Pavement Rehabilitation to address pavement deterioration on two major transport corridors. Undertaken in the Symonston area, the project used recycled pavement techniques and staged traffic management to maintain access. The works significantly improved safety, durability and long-term network performance.
Airport Northern Road - Huon Contractors
Huon Contractors Pty Ltd delivered the Airport Northern Road project for Canberra Airport, providing a critical new connection between key road corridors. Gundaroo Drive Duplication Package B - Woden Contractors
Woden Contractors delivered the Gundaroo Drive Duplication Package B to increase
capacity and safety on a major arterial route. The project in Giralang included road duplication, major stormwater works, shared paths and construction of a new multi-span bridge. Complex foundation works and live traffic staging were successfully managed to deliver durable long-term infrastructure outcomes.
Macs Reef Road and Bungendore Road Intersection Safety Upgrade - Cord Civil
Cord Civil Pty Ltd delivered the Macs Reef Road and Bungendore Road Intersection Safety Upgrade to improve safety and traffic efficiency. Located in Bywong, the project included new turning lanes, traffic islands, lighting, drainage and pavement works while maintaining traffic flow through the intersection. The upgrade significantly reduced conflict points and enhanced safety for local and through road users.
Sulwood Drive Pavement Rehabilitation - Woden Contractors
Woden Contractors completed the Sulwood Drive Pavement Rehabilitation to restore
pavement performance on a key urban connector. Located in Kambah, the project
involved in-situ pavement stabilisation, asphalt resurfacing and targeted
subgrade treatments. The works improved ride quality and safety while
minimising disruption through staged traffic management.
